This is a very auspicious occasion for the Manipuri. This year I celebrated with my dear friend Susie and Aanchal in Abu Dhabi. On this day we prepared many dishes mostly vegetarian but because we were three so we decided to cook five dishes only. We cooked the famous dish of Manipur called Ooti which is the yellow peas curry, Vegetables fried with cabbages, mushroom, peas, tomatoes, potatoes, Eromba also a very popular manipuri dish, papad, salad. We enjoyed cooking the dishes together. After the dishes were prepared,we had a little photo shoot with our Manipuri Traditional Attire.  Once the photos were taken, we had the great HAPPY feast. Later in the evening we went to the mall and did little shopping. Thats how we spend this day..!! This year I'am so blessed and grateful to be travelling to Mauritius for second time. The first visit was with my mom and I had a fabulous time and second with my childhood friend.  Nancy and I have been planning on going for trip for a long time. This time, our holiday match so we decided to go to Mauritius. A brief description about Mauritius. It is an island nation in the Indian Ocean about 2,000 kilometres off the south east coast of the African continent. The capital and largest city is Port Louis. The government uses English as a main language. The people of Mauritius speaks Creole and French. Mauritius are multi cultural and multi religions. The island is known for the home of only bird called dodo. The environment of Mauritius is typically tropical region in the coastal region with forest in the mountain region. The journey begins- Nancy works for the Emirates so we got special tickets. We stayed in a hotel called Mont choisy beach Resort which i found in Expedia....

This years theme is chocolate i guess, no wonder i received all chocolate cakes from my love ones. Chocolate is my favorite flavour.  I'am so blessed to be receiving so much love and feel humble to have this people in my life. This cakes was the best cakes I've tasted in my life.  Thank you for being in my life and making me so special on this particular day. I totally feel like a QUEEN..!!  Thanks to my dad for choosing the best name which absolutely suits my personality. I love you and Miss you a lot. If you were here, I'am sure you would be very proud of me. 

Yayy this year was the most exciting birthday ever. I got to celebrate with my favorite people in the world and also at the worlds tallest building at Burj Khalifa. I dine at the restaurant called Atmosphere which was absolutely stunning, everything was awesome also to be honest, it was expensive too. It was worth it at the end of the day. The highlight of the day is being able to treat my mom and making her feel special. Without my mom's sacrifice, struggle, love, support I will not be where I'am today the strong confident girl. One of my favorite quote is "Nothing can compare to grandma loves". On the 14th February 2017, My grandma passed away at the age 94. Today I'am gonna share some wonderful moments spent with my grandma. When I was about 5- 8 years old I spend most of my days with my grandma cause mom and dad would go to work. My grandma always kept me busy. She introduced me to Manipuri classical dance, This is an ancient Hindu sanskrit Natya shatra but with influences from the culture fusion between Indian and south east Asia. According to the traditional legend, the indigenous people of the Manipur valley were the dance experts. The Manipuri dance is for most part marked by a performance that is graceful,fluid, sinuous with greater emphasis on hand and upper body gestures. It is accompanied with devotional music created with many instruments with the beat set by cymbals and double headed drum ( pung). I'am sharing my hong kong holiday look book with you guys. I travelled in the month of January, I must say the weather was pretty amazing. First picture I'am wearing a dress from Forever 21 and shoes from Forever 21. The second picture I'am wearing my dress from New look , white half cardigans from H&M and shoes from asos. The third picture I'am wearing a slip on dress from Zara and shoes from forever 21. Later i changed my shoes cause I did not feel comfortable changed to sandals. The fourth picture I'am wearing my dress from Asos and shoes from forever21.  The fifth picture is my last day in Hong kong wearing top from Zara and Jeans from Ni hao (Chinese Brand). All my pictures I'am carrying the same bag from DKNY. I wore the same nude sandals from asos.

One of the reason I choose to travel to Hong kong is the food. Hong kong has the best food in South East Asia. I highly recommend you to travel Hong kong if you love food like me. I'll be sharing some of pictures of the food I ate during my trip, also I drank bubble milk tea non stop cause it is one of my favorite drink. You can find this drink almost every where in the streets of Hong Kong. First Picture- Exotic Asian Vegetables stir fried. The second picture is the Mango pudding. The third picture is fried fish with rice and soup, salad. The fourth picture is a matcha green tea ice cream. The fifth picture is rice with chicken fried with sauce and salad. This is called the Hong kong style noodles. This is the famous pho, which is one of my all time favorite. I can have this soup everyday and any day in my life..!!
