Food with love from Jordan

Image
I've eaten some of the best Arabic food in Jordan. I'll be sharing some of the pictures of the food. They are the most healthy and delicious which i absolutely felt in love. I experienced a completely different culture which was astonishing yet interesting. During the breakfast/lunch I understand in all over the world food is shared with the family sitting in one table and each having a plate of his/her own but what i came across in Jordan was that food is shared from one plate with everyone, even when drinking arabic coffee you drink from one cup. In India there is a saying that if you eat from the same plate or drink from same glass the love increases.  No wonder I felt the Jordanian people were so loving and caring..!!  The first picture is the breakfast starting the day with falafel, olives, humus, figs, fries etc. I was invited for a BBQ party and there was chicken and lamb with lots of salads( Taboulleh) . The best thing about food is when you share it with yo...

Jordan Travel Dairy

The First week of this month i travelled to Jordan for my Eid Break. The reason why i wanted to visit because I had an amazing friend who had invited me to celebrate Eid with the family. The second reason Indian do not require visa to go to Jordan it's visa on arrival which we had to pay 200 dihrams. Before travelling to Jordan lot many of my friends and family asked if it was safe to go there? In reply to that question it is very much safe to visit Jordan . I was in Irbid for the entire holiday. A small town and greenery 2 hours away from Amman. I went up to Umm Qaiz on my first day which was absolutely stunning the view and  Jordan's  boarder with Syria and Palestine/Israel . I was a little sad when i realize I was so close to Syria because of the ongoing war which has been going on for so long. I really hope there will be peace soon. On Second day I travelled to Petra the famous archaeological site dating around 300 BC. The capital of Nabatean Kingdom which was like 5 ...

Well If you have been following my blog then let me tell you I'am back to United Arab Emirates. It feels so good to be back here. Even though the weather is driving us nuts but I'am happy to be back. I started to kinda fall in love with this place called Al ain. It is far away from big city like Abu dhabi and Dubai but I like this quite and peaceful town. On Thursday i went to Abu dhabi to meet my friend to catch up for lunch and movies. This two are my favorite thing in the world ( food+films)= Fabulous..!! We went to this restaurant called Red Lobster. For starter we ordered calamari but I felt it was too oily. I pretty much loved what i ordered for main course  It was salmon, prawn and rice with broccoli. My friend ordered  white sauce Spaghetti with prawn which the portion was very large for one person. Otherwise it was nice restaurant. Just after we were done with lunch, we got tickets for the shallow. It was a fantastic!! My friend kinda got annoyed with me cause ...

Netflix addict

This holiday I'am hooked into Netflix. I'am going to recommend few marvellous films in Netflix. My top 5 films for this summer.  Tallulah : The movie revolves around three women, each of them plays an important role. This is one film you won't regret watching it.  Love, Rosie : I did blog about this films after i was done watching it. Don't miss this one. A girl like her : This film is about bullying. I'am totally against bullying. I was bullied when I was in college so it kinds of reminded me back to those days how miserable and humiliated I would feel but I'am glad i came out strong.  Twinster : This one is a documentary film about the twins who were bought up in two different countries and finds each other through social media. I loved it cause it is a true story very touchy and emotional.  The last one is called Chalet Girls : Most of the films I've recommended are all girly and female dominate movies. I bet you won't regret watchi...

We drove down the country side of England to Camber Sand Beach. It was magical the sand, the beach, the sky so stunningly beautiful. I'am so thankful to be able to travel around and see amazing God's creation..!! We had the best fish and chip the most popular food of England which makes the journey even more worth it and memorable one..!!
