I shall continue to take up more classes in 2017..!!  There is going to be a yoga festival in al ain in January 2017, I'am totally looking forward to it.

Organic Life Style :)

Image
Coming to end of this year I started eating organic and started using organic products. I've always wanted to change my life style in a better way and I'am glad I make up my mind and did it finally. I also realised after eating organic vegetables I feel more healthy and positive in my thought process. I also understand organic products are expensive but if we keep our priority straight and buy things we require the most then we can definitely work it out.

Before the flood

Image
I watched a documentary film called Before the Flood. It was one of the most interesting documentary film I've ever watched, not because Leonardo DiCaprio is in it but the film provided a good amount of information on the climate change. This film talks about how badly our nature is being destroyed by the humans. It also explain us what is carbon tax? A carbon tax is a fee intended to make users of fossil fuels pay for climate damage their fuel use imposes by releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, and also to motivate switches to cleaner energy. Because CO2 is released in strict proportion to the fuel’s carbon content, the carbon tax can be levied “upstream” on the fuel itself. The essence of every fossil fuel — coal, oil and gas — is its carbon and hydrogen atoms. Oxidizing (combusting) those atoms releases their heat energy. Natural gas has the highest hydrogen per carbon ratio, making it the least carbon-intensive fuel, while coal is the opposite. When these fuels

Indian currency Ban..!!

Image
On the 8th November, the PM of India made an announcement on fight to corruption , black money, terror and counterfeit currency.   India's government hopes to flush out tax evaders and make money that is unaccounted for visible for tax purposes. There have been reports of tax raids in many parts of India. New 2,000 and 500 rupee denomination notes with new security features are being given to people to replace those removed from circulation.A new 1,000 rupee note "with a new dimension and design" will also be introduced in due course said by the govt.  To be honest this a good change no doubt and I salute the govt for bringing this change as soon as possible before it is too late.   My questions are will this be effective and Is it going to solve the problem? I think we will have to wait and see in coming years.  As soon as I saw this news online, the very next day I rush to money exchange because I had 4500 Indian currency left with me from my last trip to In

I'am Indian..!!

Image
Today I'am sharing one of the frequent asked question to me -where are you from? People tend to be always surprise with my answer "I am from India Manipur and asked me why I don't look like Indian? I'am going to explain to you why I don't look like an Indian. I'am come from the North East States of India a state called Manipur.  After India’s Independence from the British rule in 1947, the all the independent states of India had to be merged with the Union of India  . Years after Independence, most of the independent states have now grown to accept wholly the notion of a ‘Union of India’. Only a few states – namely Kashmir and the Northern States (the Seven Sisters) have not been able to integrate fully with the Union of India. We are g eographically separate from mainland India. The Seven Sisters, as the seven states in India's North East corner are called - Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland and Arunachal - are different from the res

Happy Diwali and Ningol Chakouba

Image
Diwali is one of the biggest festival in India. On this day people light their houses and town, street. It is like christmas in India. It is a very spritual day where we pray to God, to let our houses, family and friends shine with lights and let the darkness and evil to be wash away. I love this festival but at the same time I'am totally against the noise pollution. I think it is high time people stop wasting money on buying crackers instead buy sweets and gifts, share to needy ones. Ningol Chakouba is also considered one of the biggest festival in my home town Manipur. The elder brothers or younger invites his married sisters for big fat lunch and present them gifts. This festival is celebrated to honour the love between siblings. How I celebrate when I'am home? I spend a good quality time with my family and friends.  This year I'am away from home. I did light up candles in my room. But I missed home. The sad thing about being away from family is not being able to ce

Skin care routine..!!

Image
Today I'am sharing my skin care routine what I use on my face on daily basis. When I was younger I did not really care about my skin much but as I'am getting older I've become concern of my skin and taking good care of it. I normally wash my face twice day, one as I wake up and one before going to bed at night. Some days may be three to four times. As I wake up I wash my face with Body shop Tea Tree, I apply toner, youth essence lotion, day cream and apply my make up for the day. At night I apply the same product on my face except for the day cream I switch to night cream. The reasons I used this products is because I used to have lots of pimples, after using it for couples of years now my face is pimple free. On the positive note It is soft, clean and clear.

Car Show 2016

Image
On 19th October,2016 I went to Car show which was hosted in Danat Resort Al ain. It was an amazing experience as I got to see many gorgeous luxury cars. I love fancy luxury cars. I don't own a car cause I still haven't got my driving license. I've a fear of driving. I learnt it when i was 19 and I met with an accident since then I've been afraid. I did not injured anyone but I hit the car on the wall. I'am going to let this fear go away. I'am hoping to get my driving license soon. My goal for 2017 is own a car of my own. I'am sharing some of the pictures of the cars. I hope you like it.

Lunch at P.F Chang's Al ain

Image
On Saturday I went in for lunch with my friend to P.F Chang's. I would say the ambience and atmosphere was very pleasant.  It was very spacy and the art work gave a oriental look.   For starter we ordered a big bowl of waton soup and Chicken dumpling. I think it was a mistake cause it was very big for two people. The soup was really nice, sadly filled our tummy. About the dumpling I felt it was cold and It was flavourless. For the main course we had a Hot fish which is a crispy slices fish with stir fried vegetables, sichuan sauce, second dish was called wok charred beef which was slices beef with mushroom and pepper. Both the dish was served with brown rice. After tasting both the dish I loved the beef more which i felt it was cooked perfectly. I did not really like the fish cause i felt it was too dry.  We did not have dessert but over all if you asked me to rate the restaurant I would give 8/10 because the lady who served was very sweet and friendly.

Lunch and Movie in Dubai

Image
Hello Friends, I went off to Dubai to meet a friend where we had our lunch in Emirates mall in Dean & Daluca. My friend loved what she ordered the lentil soup, Vegetarian Taco, Cheese mac cheese. I ordered Mushroom soup and wooden chicken fried, Honestly i did not like it at all. I was not very happy with my lunch. After we were done with lunch, we wanted to watch a film called Pink but it was not available so very disappointing, we checked out the other mall. It was showing in Burjuman so we quickly rush but unluckily it was sold out. We watched the magnificent seven which was an average film. Before we headed home we had our afternoon tea or evening tea from Paul. My friend ordered bread toast. I love the cakes, I had chocolate cheese cake which was yum.  It was not a bad day after all. Glad i was able to spend the beautiful day with my childhood school friend :)

Food with love from Jordan

Image
I've eaten some of the best Arabic food in Jordan. I'll be sharing some of the pictures of the food. They are the most healthy and delicious which i absolutely felt in love. I experienced a completely different culture which was astonishing yet interesting. During the breakfast/lunch I understand in all over the world food is shared with the family sitting in one table and each having a plate of his/her own but what i came across in Jordan was that food is shared from one plate with everyone, even when drinking arabic coffee you drink from one cup. In India there is a saying that if you eat from the same plate or drink from same glass the love increases.  No wonder I felt the Jordanian people were so loving and caring..!!  The first picture is the breakfast starting the day with falafel, olives, humus, figs, fries etc. I was invited for a BBQ party and there was chicken and lamb with lots of salads( Taboulleh) . The best thing about food is when you share it with you

Jordan Travel Dairy

Image
The First week of this month i travelled to Jordan for my Eid Break. The reason why i wanted to visit because I had an amazing friend who had invited me to celebrate Eid with the family. The second reason Indian do not require visa to go to Jordan it's visa on arrival which we had to pay 200 dihrams. Before travelling to Jordan lot many of my friends and family asked if it was safe to go there? In reply to that question it is very much safe to visit Jordan . I was in Irbid for the entire holiday. A small town and greenery 2 hours away from Amman. I went up to Umm Qaiz on my first day which was absolutely stunning the view and  Jordan's  boarder with Syria and Palestine/Israel . I was a little sad when i realize I was so close to Syria because of the ongoing war which has been going on for so long. I really hope there will be peace soon. On Second day I travelled to Petra the famous archaeological site dating around 300 BC. The capital of Nabatean Kingdom which was like 5 h
