Lunch and Movie in Dubai

Image
Hello Friends, I went off to Dubai to meet a friend where we had our lunch in Emirates mall in Dean & Daluca. My friend loved what she ordered the lentil soup, Vegetarian Taco, Cheese mac cheese. I ordered Mushroom soup and wooden chicken fried, Honestly i did not like it at all. I was not very happy with my lunch. After we were done with lunch, we wanted to watch a film called Pink but it was not available so very disappointing, we checked out the other mall. It was showing in Burjuman so we quickly rush but unluckily it was sold out. We watched the magnificent seven which was an average film. Before we headed home we had our afternoon tea or evening tea from Paul. My friend ordered bread toast. I love the cakes, I had chocolate cheese cake which was yum.  It was not a bad day after all. Glad i was able to spend the beautiful day with my childhood school friend :)

Food with love from Jordan

Image
I've eaten some of the best Arabic food in Jordan. I'll be sharing some of the pictures of the food. They are the most healthy and delicious which i absolutely felt in love. I experienced a completely different culture which was astonishing yet interesting. During the breakfast/lunch I understand in all over the world food is shared with the family sitting in one table and each having a plate of his/her own but what i came across in Jordan was that food is shared from one plate with everyone, even when drinking arabic coffee you drink from one cup. In India there is a saying that if you eat from the same plate or drink from same glass the love increases.  No wonder I felt the Jordanian people were so loving and caring..!!  The first picture is the breakfast starting the day with falafel, olives, humus, figs, fries etc. I was invited for a BBQ party and there was chicken and lamb with lots of salads( Taboulleh) . The best thing about food is when you share it with you

The second reason Indian do not require visa to go to Jordan it's visa on arrival which we had to pay 200 dihrams. Before travelling to Jordan lot many of my friends and family asked if it was safe to go there? In reply to that question it is very much safe to visit Jordan . I was in Irbid for the entire holiday. A small town and greenery 2 hours away from Amman. I went up to Umm Qaiz on my first day which was absolutely stunning the view and  Jordan's  boarder with Syria and Palestine/Israel . I was a little sad when i realize I was so close to Syria because of the ongoing war which has been going on for so long. I really hope there will be peace soon. On Second day I travelled to Petra the famous archaeological site dating around 300 BC. The capital of Nabatean Kingdom which was like 5 h
