Lets talk about this..!! DEPRESSION

Image
I woke up to the news of Linkin Park's lead singer Chester Bennington passed away. He took his own life at the age of 41. I was extremely sad with the news cause half of my childhood I grew up listening to his song. What make me even more sad is he committed suicide. The questions come why would you do that to your self? why? I read on the news that he had been abused as a child by an older male.  He struggled with drugs and alcohol for years. He was suffering from DEPRESSION. This also reminded me of my very dear college friend who committed suicide at the age of 21. I was devastated and would say it was one of the biggest shock of my life. I was very close to her.  It was hard to believe that she was no more.  I came to understand that she suffered from Depression. I never knew until I read all her poems. She loved writing poems, her poems was very blue. From this, I would say that there are so many people who is suffering from mental illness but they won't let us know o

29 things about ME..!!

Einstein once said " The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know. With age comes not knowledge but wisdom. As I'am in my 29, I have started to reflect on how different I was, how much I have learnt and how much I'am going to learn. This also means that there is plenty of time of reinvention, finding love, having fun, learning and discovering. 1. I stop giving too much attention to people who does not care about me. 2. I'am single. 3. I can get ready in 5 minutes. 4. I used to love watching music videos in MTV and VH1. 5. Watching movies alone in theatre not a big deal. 6. I don't regret anything in my past. 7. I was trendy and I'am still trendy. I love Fashion. Cloths play an important role in my life. The creativeness in me, one of the ways in expressing myself. 8. I love classic films. 9. Sleep super early on work days. Breakfast is a must. 10. Travelling and living abroad makes me more worldly and the experience are

I would like to let you know, I don't eat outside every single day. May be twice in a week, when I do eat outside meal it has to be good food. Otherwise mostly I'am cooking at home, when I'am cooking it is usually stir fried vegetables or boil vegetables and egg fried rice or plain rice. I tend to eat a lot of vegetables , eggs, fruits, fresh juice everyday. I'am a tea lover so I drink tea through out the day. My current favorite is match green tea and Ice lemon tea. This is one of my most exciting post ever..!! I'am thrilled by the fact that I'am going to meet my friend from school after 10 years. We have never planned but it came as a surprise and we absolutely love it. Soumi and I are school friends and we have always stayed connected through social media in Facebook. Thanks to Facebook for letting me know she is here in Tokyo. I texted her and we decided to meet up in Shibuya. The day arrived, we both very much reached on time and met in Starbucks. We did not sit there instead I took her to bubble milk tea shop called Coco, which is one of my favorite. It was her first time so I'am glad she enjoyed her drink. We walked around and we headed to Harajuku, which is about 15 minutes by walk. While we were walking around we found a hidden garden so we decided to take a lot of pictures, it was small but really nice. We sat down to talk about what we did in the past 10 years? it was really a long conversation, so much to catch up bu

Where to eat in Tokyo?

One thing it is important to know that in Japan reservation is a must before you go to the restaurant. Most of the restaurants are pretty small so it is required to book a table, otherwise it is difficult to get a seat. Here is my top three favorite places to eat in Tokyo.  On my top list - If you want to eat an authentic Japanese cuisine then I suggest Suzaku in Ginza is the right place.  You will definitely love the warm environment and hospitality. The interior itself has a very Japanese vibes. I loved it. The food is AMAZING...!! Second is called Gonpachi in Roppongi, It is an interesting place love the positive vibes you could definitely feel it when you enter the restaurant.  It is pretty crowded during weekends. You would see a lot of tourist, also many famous people have visited this restaurant. It is a noisy place but food is great too.  Third one is called Karuta in Asakhusa view hotel. You can enjoy the traditional multi course
